
Elkhorn (Wisconsin) All-Sports Hall of Fame

In 2015 Elkhorn Area High School introduced its first All-Sports Hall of Fame Class. Athletics at EAHS dates back roughly 100 years to the 1910s. The first high school was built in 1908, and the school became the first in the nation to award the American Legion Medal to an all-around athlete in 1922.

Since the first Hall of Fame class, six athletes from his era have been inducted including former teammates brother Roger Van Scotter, Class of 1958 (2015), Don Koepnick, Class of 1959 (2016), and Jon Platts Class of 1958 (2018), Richard Grimm (2019), Jim Platts (2022). Richard Van Scotter received this honor in 2017.
